As a wedding planner, I wanted to showcase one of my most sophisticated projects: the international symbolic wedding of Amanda and Patrycjusz, which took place in the grounds of a hotel in Ogrodzieniec. It was an extraordinary event where we brought together different cultures, traditions and languages to create a ceremony full of elegance and sophistication that will be remembered for a long time.
Firstly, the bride and groom and I decided on a unique, timeless colour scheme of dark green, white and gold. These colours harmonised perfectly with the hotel garden’s stunning surroundings, adding to its charm. We created floral decorations featuring green plants and white flowers to adorn the arch beneath which the bride and groom exchanged their vows.
The humanist wedding ceremony took place in the hotel garden. Piotr, with his experience of working in an international environment, was the ideal person to conduct a Polish-Norwegian outdoor wedding, and he was our master of ceremonies. Amanda and Patrycjusz come from different countries and cultures.
Subdued gold accessories played a key role in this unique celebration. These included gold underplates, decorative frames for table numbers, and candlesticks. Gold elements were incorporated into the table and reception venue decorations.
For this symbolic, international wedding, our focus was on elegance and harmony. Attention to detail was paramount, in terms of both the arrangement and the menu. The menu was tailored to guests from Poland and Norway, offering a variety of dishes from around the world to satisfy guests’ diverse tastes. It also allowed them to experience the diversity of both cultures.
This unique outdoor wedding in the garden was the perfect embodiment of love knowing no boundaries or cultural barriers. Inspired by the international backgrounds of the bride and groom, the symbolic wedding became an unforgettable event, where the theme colours — dark green, white and gold — perfectly emphasised the elegance and uniqueness of this extraordinary day. It was an honour to organise this event, and I know it will remain in the hearts of the bride and groom, as well as all those who attended, forever.
