Unconventional – that’s hands down the best word to describe this wedding in Tychy!
One of my first meetings with the couple took place out in the field – quite literally. We were scouting for the perfect reception venue, and from our very first conversation, I knew we were looking for something truly unique. That’s how we found ourselves at the Browar Obywatelski in Tychy. The industrial space, restored machinery, and vintage barrels had us all won over at first sight.
The couple shared a common hobby, but came from very different professional backgrounds – which posed an exciting challenge in finding a wedding theme that would reflect both their personalities. Original, clever, flexible, and visually striking… the answer was clear: American Blueprint. And what a perfect match it turned out to be!
The theme first came to life with the wedding invitations – printed on navy blue stock, featuring white technical-style fonts. The design was a standout from traditional wedding stationery and immediately piqued guests’ curiosity.
The Blueprint motif carried through to the big day. Posters imported specially from the US adorned the venue – from tables and the bar to the dessert station and lounge areas. The menus and stationery were all created to match the style and colour palette of the invitations.
To soften and balance the bold blueprint visuals, the tables featured lush floral arrangements in deep burgundy and pastel tones – a perfect contrast to the dark blue accents and industrial setting.
Guests were treated to a range of carefully curated attractions: a whisky bar with handpicked bottles for the true connoisseurs, a cosy chill-out zone, a sweet corner, photo area, and even a barrel of locally brewed beer – the perfect touch for a warm evening celebration.
Of course, we couldn’t skip the regional nods – after all, this celebration took place in the very heart of Silesia 😊
One wedding in Tychy, countless contrasts: industrial meets elegant, modern meets traditional, and America meets Silesia. That’s what Let’s Wed it is all about.
