Slow Wedding

Slow wedding, but actually a rushed one 😉.
I had just five weeks to organise Mary and Elliot’s reception. We did it!

The idea was to create a light, idyllic atmosphere among the rocks in the Będkowska Valley near Krakow. It was the perfect venue for the couple, who love climbing and travel from the other end of Poland to the Krakow-Czestochowa Jura every chance they get.

The couple wanted a relaxed atmosphere and a slow wedding style, so the decorations matched the wooden huts that housed the tables for the guests. The dance floor was simply outdoors! Although the weather was occasionally rainy, it didn’t spoil the fun or the mood.

The tables were set with cream tablecloths running down the centre, adorned with small floral arrangements in bottles. To add to the style, I used blue and cream ceramic tableware, complemented by pastel napkins and eco stationery. To make the guests comfortable, we provided seating cushions which were donated to an animal shelter to be used as beds for dogs and cats after the event. It was a beautiful gesture by the bride and groom — the pets were overjoyed!

The slow wedding of Mary and Elliot was a realisation guided by the voice of the heart, passion, and love of nature.
